Take a moment to step out from your World and into God’s

Spread the love

In our fast-paced and hectic lives, it can be easy to get caught up in our own world and forget about the bigger picture. We may become so focused on our problems, our goals, and our daily routines that we forget to take a moment to step out from our own world and into God’s. But taking that moment can be life-changing.

When we step out from our world and into God’s, we gain a new perspective on life. We see things through His eyes, and we begin to understand His plans for us. In the book of Isaiah, God tells us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways” (Isaiah 55:8). When we take the time to seek God, we begin to understand His ways and His plans for our lives.

In the book of Psalms, we are reminded of the importance of seeking God. “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him” (Psalm 34:8). This verse tells us that when we seek God, we will find refuge in Him. We will find comfort, peace, and strength.

Jesus himself modeled the importance of seeking God. In the Gospel of Mark, we read that “very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1:35). Even though Jesus was fully God, He still found it necessary to spend time seeking the Father’s guidance and wisdom.

So, how can we take a moment to step out from our world and into God’s? We can start by setting aside time each day to pray and read the Bible. We can attend church and surround ourselves with other believers. We can also take time to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation and to thank Him for all the blessings in our lives.

When we step out from our world and into God’s, we gain a new perspective on life. We begin to see things through His eyes, and we begin to understand His plans for us. As we read in the book of Proverbs, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). When we trust in God and seek His guidance, He will lead us on the path He has for us.
